Hiding things in pillowcases is usually not that effective. It's an obvious hiding spot, plus it can get uncomfortable.
Be sure not to hide your treasures in something that someone might use or throw out, like a tissue box.
To confuse parents and siblings, put your secret items in a box labeled "school supplies."
Depending on the item, you can hide them in the back of old stuffed animals.
Hide money and other items of similar dimensions under the pads in your sneakers.
Hiding things in between your clothes can work for some. Don't hide things in your socks or underwear drawers if others have access to it.
